The play takes place in Verona, Italy, and is about two feuding families and their children. The children soon find themselves in love with their sworn enemy and must defy fate to stay together. Their short-lived love is faced with many challenges and life-threatening choices.
The theme of love is often associated with peace and kindness. However, in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the two lovers’ suicidal impulse shows love as a cause of self-destructive violence, as seen through their thoughts, words and actions. Firstly, Romeo and Juliet’s suicidal thoughts reveal the violence caused by their love. In other words, it is their intense passion for each other that leads to their contemplation of suicide. For instance, when Romeo is told of Juliet’s supposed death, he immediately thinks of killing himself and begins to plan his suicide, as demonstrated by the following quote: “Well, Juliet, I will lie with thee tonight.
Four hundred thousand deaths, six hundred thousand attempts, and two hundred thousand considerations in a single year. The seeming epidemic that is teen suicide plagues the minds of teachers, students, friends, neighbors, and parents. Despite this wide range of victims, teenage suicide most directly affects the parents of these children, who commonly feel an overwhelming sense of guilt due to their inability to help their children. However, to many it appears obvious that there are not many things parents can do to prevent suicide, for many reasons. Furthermore, William Shakespeare proves this with his tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” in which two teenagers take their lives.
Romeo killed Paris and went into the Capulet’s coffin see Juliet and he said, “Thou desperate pilot, now at once run on the dashing rocks thy seasick, weary bark. Here’s to my love.” Romeo drunk the poison and he said, “ Thy drugs are quick,” and Romeo dies. Juliet wakes up and finds Romeo dead and she curses him because he did

Romeo and Juliet took place in Italy. They were a fight at the beginning of the play but the prince comes and breaks the fight. Romeo was moping around during a fight. First i’m going to start with Romeo’s parents in the story we don’t really even hear about his parents it was kinda like they didn’t care and the only person we really hear and see from romeo's side of their family is benvolio and and i don’t even think they are truly related but i think that wasn’t a major factor for romeo's death but it played it’s part. Now for juliet that is another story because she is a girl she needs her
In the infamous tragedy of the play ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by William Shakespeare, the theme and influence of death are poignantly prevalent through the course of the play. The use of death in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ is portrayed through 3 instances of the deaths of 4 major characters, Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio and Tybalt, in which the context of each death, are relative to the cause and development of their demise. Shakespeare capitalizes on the sophistication and complexity of death along with its varying impacts in relation to the context in which guides their tragedies. The death of Romeo is the result of his intense love and passion for Juliet as he refuses to exist in a world without his true love, “ The lean abhorrèd monster keeps thee here in dark to be his paramour? For fear of that, I still will stay with thee, And never from this palace of dim night depart again.”
In my opinion I think that the feud between the two main families, the Capulets and the Montagues, is the most responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death. The conflict between these two families is so distasteful that it causes Romeo and Juliet even more of a struggle as they try to find and keep their love. This conflict between the Capulets and the Montagues has been going on for a very long time and neither side is willing to make up for whatever may have happened in the past. Because of this a strong dislike is portrayed when someone sees a person from the opposite side. If the family feud wouldn’t have existed Romeo and Juliet would not have any large reason to hide their relationship.
