The Courageous Rosa Parks “It takes courage to stand up for your rights even when you know there will be consequences”(Shmoop). Confidence in what you believe is one key that will lead to success. Rosa Parks showed many acts of moral courage. For example, they could have given up and decided to not go on any longer, but they choose to fight until the end. “Jewish women performed heroic deeds and faced unthinkable peril, their spouses were sent to death camps and they themselves were torn from their roles as caregivers and pushed into the workforce, there to be humiliated and abused”(Ban Ki-Moon, United Nations Secretary-Generals). Everything that the Jews had were taken from them the same way that the whites and African Americans were segregated on the bus. The Jews slept on hard bunks and got small portions of soup, which left them starving and Rosa and the other African Americans had to fight for fair rights .
