Technology Rough Draft
Technology has changed our society bringing it to different levels. It has created a computerized and intelligent Society. People stay aware of their surroundings and know more about the world, keeping in touch with others as well. Many old school tasks have been replaced with new efficient methods, being interactive and interesting but there is more to those flying Space Shuttles and fancy Gadgets than meets the eye.
Smartphones, our pocket computers have revolutionized the way we communicate and interact with each other. Smartphones are faster and efficient than many computers and contain more space being the size of our palm, than it would take 1 big room to fill 20 years ago. More advancements into the silicon and touch screens is making them faster, smaller, slimmer and smoother. They are very easy-to-use, mini computer versions. Society relies on their smartphones for many tasks, apart from calling and messaging, one can do their school/office work on their phone even. It has had a wide effect on society. More and more people are using them “According to Google’s “Our Mobile Planet” survey, the United Arab Emirates leads the world in smartphone adoption rates, with 73.8 percent of its population owning one, even more than notoriously tech-savvy nations such as South Korea (73 percent)” (Phillips).
Different branches in technology have risen to enhance it even better. “The question is very vague and as such as technology may refer to "technology" in any field and hence the definition has too wide a base to be specific” (Arya).
