Russian Revolution During the twentieth century, Russia was led by Nicholas II. Although he was very unprepared, he still took on the role of the country’s superior. Under his leadership, and with the help of a revolution, the country began to fall apart. The Russian Revolution of 1917 was a result of a series of events.
