The (2-4) Dallas Cowboys will host the (3-4) Seattle Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon 3:25 CT. Somehow some way the Cowboys need to find a way to win couple games until Tony Romo returns on Nov 22nd against the Dolphins. It all starts with Sunday, this team is currently on a four game losing streak for the first time since 2010. By no means is this team pancaking, but the urgency to win is at an all-time high right now. Last week's game against the Giants even with the loss this team showed some positive signs, the defensive played well, the offensive line looked like the offensive line from 2014, running game was finally good, and despite the turnovers the passing game seemed a little better with Matt Cassel at quarterback.

Giants 3-3 4:25 PM ET – TV: FOX Ineptness on the offensive side of the ball has influenced Cowboys HC Jason Garrett to shake things up – giving Matt Cassel the nod at quarterback – and the progress of rookie standout O-lineman La’el Collins has earned him the starting spot at left guard over Ronald Leary. According to reports from Valley Ranch, the Cowboys have been giving Christine Michael first team reps at running back during practice. Joseph Randle hasn’t rocked the house as the lead ball-carrier for Dallas’ ground game, averaging only 3.9 yards per carry, but the yards in total have been decent with OC Scott Linehan getting Randle and the backs involved in the passing game. The Giants’ defense is ranked near
While relationships are strengthened on the field, through practice and hard work, Elon’s pitchers and catcher note the importance of bonding off the field. According to first-year pitcher,
The Green Packers look like they are going to go to the Super Bowl this year with one the best teams they have had in a few years. Aaron Rodgers looks to lead them to a lot of victories this season. The Packers beat the 49ers today 17 – 3. When thinking about the 49ers offense even without Frank Gore, they are still one of the best offensive teams in the league. The Packers will probably go close to 16 – 0 this season and will probably being going very far into the postseason.

He sees the competition as an academic and athletic competition. He thinks, “I was more and more certainly becoming the best student in the school; Phineas was without question the best athlete, so in that way we were even.
By displaying idealized influence, Sweeney has been able to gain the respect and admiration of his team members by showing concern for them and displaying a high level of ethical behaviors (CSU, n.d.). Part of his philosophy is that he would rather lose while doing the right things, than win by doing what is wrong (Price, 2014). Individual consideration is used by leaders when they form relationships with their followers based on each one’s personal needs (CSU, n.d.). Coach Swinney shows individual consideration by developing personal relationships with all his players, both on and off the field (Brenner, 2014). He has a genuine interest in all of his players and builds bonds with them.
The sport I chose to observe was college football. I decided to chose this sport because football is a sport my family enjoys to watch. Also I enjoy watching football more than any other sport because there is so much that could happen, in football many unexpecting plays could happen, and each game is different than the last one. The game I chose to watch was a college football game between the University of Notre Dame and the University of Miami that took place at the University of Miami on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The game started with Miami kicking the ball to Notre Dame.
Coach Boone stresses the idea of respect; he doesn’t care if his players don’t like each other but he expects them to respect each other and maybe, they will learn how to play the game of football like men. As a leader, I have to be aware of my surroundings and the individuals around me that I could possibly be influencing by my actions but also by my character. The goal of a team is being able to say you are giving something that is bigger than yourself, one hundred percent effort, including your resources. A team is so much more than just one person, without fellow teammates a leader cannot
The coach’s actions mainly appeal to logos. He does things that makes the viewers think about the situation. He points out the reason his option about being successful is more than just “winning” a sports game. His speeches appeal to logos.
They were able to relate to the one inch at a time proposition of pulling together to come out of the disarray the team was in. They were touched by his honesty and openness in the beginning of his speech, which was an attention getter, then intrigued by the challenge to sacrifice for the team and fight for the inches need to win and survive. The coach ended the speech with a summation of the team fighting for that inch together and then concluded with the question, “…now, what are you gonna do”. The inspired team then went on, played with their heart, and won the football game.
