The Information Technology center here at San Diego Job Corps, has endless possibilities with me getting set up in my career. I must be eager and focused to fully understand the three most important pillars for a career is social, educational, and the professional standards is the foundation of any trade. Me personally to gain these vital life skills is something I will cherish with deep gratitude. I am twenty two years old and I am just starting to realize that I need to make a change to better my life. That when I have children of my own I will be able to teach early how the real world works. The social networking as exploded the past decade. Where employers can view your facebook for their insight on your person. It’s not invasion of privacy when you decide to put it online. From personal interactions on the bus, to the perseverance of applying myself in the classroom. To be social is something most learn in elementary, before the pressures of high school. Like for instance I never lived in a dorm. But I know this program will and can benefit me with a lot of focus. In my high school days I got into partying and started to slack. Which ultimately ended up with me dropping out. So I guess I had to go that place to get to this one. Looking back at it I am glad where life took me. It made me who I am today. I am not socially awkward like a lot of people I come across. I won’t let myself close off to the world just because I have a bad day.
