Housing: Santa remains challenged at filling out envelopes and following basic concepts of housing. She needs constant supervision and guidance. Case manager is responsible for filling out and sending out request for applications and client is responsible for signing off on application providing documentation. Case manager with the aid of an interpreter will inform client of all housing matters.
Savings: Santa submitted all of her pay stubs and a bank receipt. She failed to submit an actual bank statement and will have to do so at next appointment.
Santa revealed she has been sending $550 monthly to the Santo Domingo and or the Dominican Republic to aid family. $50 goes to her daughter in one country and $500 to her grandchild in another. She has only saved $160 while living in shelter. She was advised to cease or significantly reduce supporting family abroad while she lives in shelter and concentrate on finding housing and saving so she can support her three children. Children: Ysandry, Isaul and Wander are all doing well. They are adjusting to America and are happy. The boy have made friends at school whom they now spend time with. They look forward to the Hildebrand Christmas party on 12/8 Other Collateral Work: Santa says she will reconnect with Project Hope. She initially she met with Iliana Ramirez the Adult Education Services ESOL Advocate and is willing to reach out to her again.
