A lot of people are searching for their personal legend and some have already achieved it. Your personal legend is the purpose of your life, or what you are meant to do with your life. Some people fulfill this quest and others never do, either by ignoring it or by not being willing to put in the effort. In the alchemist, a boy named Santiago fulfills his personal legend, by crossing the desert with the help of many people along the way. Have you ever had a passion to do something in life, like win a trophy or build something. That’s a personal legend, a calling or desire to do something, for a cause greater other than for yourself. In the alchemist, Santiago's personal legend is to find treasure at the pyramids. He has a recurring dream, as well as omens, his dream to find the treasure.
