What is a person according to Skinner?
A person is the result of genetics and what one learns or is taught and how he is treated. He believed a person can be made to be a certain way based on treating them in a certain way in society.

He believed that genetics and the way a person is treated in society and the education he has determines the way he will behave. He thought that a person could be predicted through the laws of nature based on these facts. Page 367

Skinner believed that freedom was the desire to be free of someone else’s control. It was to have free will of one’s own mind and actions. Page 367

Sartre’s beliefs were based on one’s own actions and his free will to do what he wants. Skinner believed that through what someone else chooses to teach someone and how he is treated in society determines how he will think and behave.
