I started to ridicule leaders of the time, like Régent, the Duke of Orleans in France, the Duchess of Berry, and many others, for things that they did. I also spoke out against the oppression that was being held on the French population, for not being able to speak out for themselves.

How I contributed to the paradigm shift in the 17th and 18th Centuries:
I highly contributed to the paradigm shift in the 18th Century. I did many things to contribute, like spreading ideas of tolerance of all sorts. I spread my philosophies that people should be able to believe in whatever religion they would like, and also be able to think and express the way they feel about everything. Most countries have religious tolerance of all sorts, and allow all types of religions to be practiced in their countries. Everyone has the right to say whatever they want in most countries as well. The most well-known human right is probably freedom of speech, and to be able to express one’s thoughts without being oppressed for it.

An example of a policy that goes against my beliefs that needs to be changed somewhere in the world today is:
In North Korea, and many other countries, people are not allowed to say what they want, and express bad ideas about the government, or they might risk being sent to a labor camp, or being killed. People cannot peacefully protest against the people who are ruling them, even if what they’re doing is morally wrong and abusive of their power.
