Pain isn’t just something that can be forgotten so easily. It is there forever, a scar. Now, sometimes on accident, scars displayed on your skin grab the nearest attention. Today, people see scars as something viewed on the exterior as unappealing and revolting. Humans don’t have any other way other than judging people around them. It’s just our society in this century. They don’t know what it took to go through the pain mentally, as much as physically. There are multiple emotions that take place to get through pain and suffering. Everyone has their story in how they dealt with their scar. Pain can have just as much of an effect mentally, on the inside, as on the outside. The similar ways they share their qualities is being symbolic. They both have a way of telling a story, whether good or bad. Scars mean something, they don’t have to be on the skin as an imperfection, it is shown deep down in the pain that has held you immobile. The inside scar is more mentally, but it still proves you experienced it. On the outside, pain is shown through scars shown on the surface. Does that mean something? Personally, it does. Having an outside scar is usually not personal because of the proof exhibited on the other hand inside scars are usually kept down personally. They can be viewed differently from other people's opinions or whether what feelings are felt depending on the situation. There can be multiple opinions on whether it should keep it personal or if it should be let out public. Denial is a common feeling that is used in tough decisions and it may feel like it shouldn’t be talked about or vise versa. When dealing with mental or physical pain it can be hard to try and go getting help and they both share a difference depending on the situation. They are viewed as different opinions or
