Many children are required to have school uniforms but many more do not. Instead they have rules that state what they are and what they are not aloud to wear to school on a daily basis.
Schools should require students to wear school uniforms because they provide extra safety, they help students concentrate on academics, and they save time.
It is believed that school uniforms do not provide students with more safety. J. Also, parents would rather have their kids wear uniforms to school and on field trips to prevent their children from going missing. If a student did not have a logo on their shirt and they went missing, then no one around them would know where to safely return them or where they came from. These are reasons why schools should wear school uniforms because they provide safety.

It often takes children (especially teens) a long time to get ready for school because they need to pick everything out and they usually try on a different number of things. Because they have uniforms they already know what to wear, which can make the mornings way easier. Michelle Kouzmine, a researcher for The Spruce, reported that, “When there's no debate on what a student is allowed wear to school, mornings are easier for parents and for kids. Everyone knows exactly what the kids need to wear, their regulated school uniform. This can lead to a decrease in morning arguments.”
Some families fight their kids about wearing shorts on really cold days, wearing dresses that are a little too high, or wearing really baggy pants. If they had to wear uniforms than the parents would not have to fight their kids about what to wear which saves the parents’ time and the kids’.
