Entering into Neiman Marcus, customers have the feeling of having found a high-class store. This sensation makes Nordstrom rank as a store for people with an average purchasing power.

Kohl's, on the other hand, holds stronger positioning and market share in other specific product categories or private label collections that better align with its brand image and customer preferences (TBH, 2024). For example, Kohl's may have carved out advantages in areas like trendy millennial-focused apparel, activewear, home décor, or any other category where J.C. Penney's assortment falls short.

Compared to the previous year with Dick Sporting Goods only having 694 stores across the country, this year they have 741 stores. An increase in volume being sold. By allowing the customers to shop inventory and hold items at certain store is a huge attraction to shoppers and makes it easier for them when looking for specific items.
