Around 2 years ago, I stepped into a small room in Lancaster. I saw about 20 other girls in that room, all accompanied by their parents. My mom picked up a paper and my sister and I sat down. I was shaking looking at my sheet music, trying to remember the tune.
It was the first time a performing in parade, going to Louisiana, and visiting Southern University. I thought I was going to have so much fun and being away from my parents for a whole weekend was also a plus. Due to the sleeping arrangements at the hotel there were two band members per room. Cameron and I were chosen to room together, and I was not thrilled about it at all. I remember thinking, “Really, him out of all people; out all people, I get the weird boy.”
I saw the US Army Field Band perform at J H Rose High School. It was at November 14, 7:00 PM and over 1,000 people attend. The concert lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes and they played 12 pieces total. There were many guests that join them in that concert, one conductor and 8 artists, who join them only for one piece. Overall I really enjoy the concert that the Field Band performed.
“It 's true: Williams is black, she 's very muscular, and she 's a skilled player. But breathless commentators sometimes talk about these qualities in a way that buys into what sociologist Delia Douglas, in an article on the Williams sisters published in 2004 by the Sociology of Sport Online called "the essentialist logic of racial difference, which has long sought to mark the black body as inherently different from other bodies (Harris)."The result is that Williams 's athleticism is attributed to her ethnicity.” In todays society most media reporters and social media portrays the famous tennis player Serena Williams the way they do because she is a “black female”. They view Serena Williams as manly, untamed, and boisterous, because of her

Even till today I have never experienced family bonding ; it was always just my father, my mother, my brother, and me. I never had the experience of going to grandma’s house and having Thanksgiving dinner. I never felt the feeling of receiving Christmas presents from all my family members. Till this day I have never gotten the chance to say “Hey mom I’m going over my cousins
I’m not sure where I would be today without band and the support of Ms. Ryan and my fellow band mates. Ever since the first day of band camp freshman year, I have felt like the Monacan Band is my second family. For example, during the first couple of days of freshman band camp, there was one member of my section that I thought I wouldn’t get along with at all. Four years later, that person is one of my best friends. I am very fortunate to be able to have made friends that love music the way that I do.
Most of the time it was just me sitting alone in the group’s place while the kids were at school and the grandmother was at work and doing everything else to pay bills. It was hard since there was limited time to

Pre-established beliefs began to lose their legitimacy, while new ideas rapidly spread and quickly dominated the conversation surrounding the lore of witches and witchcraft. The year 1400 CE is often depicted as the date in which Europe witnessed the most extensive change in beliefs about witchcraft
Concert Review 3 On October 17th, my girlfriend brought me to the Kansas Band Association’s marching band championship. Her dad’s friend was one of the band directors, so that’s why we ended up going. She grew up around matching band. I on the other hand only went to my high school football games, so I only saw my school’s marching band then.
I am the youngest of three in my family, two older brothers. I am the youngest out of all my relatives as well. I have always been viewed as the little girl and I probably always will be considering I am five foot. This past summer I had the opportunity of a lifetime to hike the inka trail in peru. When first heard that this was going to happen I wasn't exactly surprised as most families prefer going to beach resort each year and relaxing while being catered pina colada my mother sees to it that we see every square inch of the place we visit, even if that means hiking 10 miles to see a random rock that is supposed to have some historic significance that we easily could have googled an image of to get the full effect.
Joining band had an immense and almost immediate impact on my life. Before being in band I had never had a talent that I felt completely confident in. I enjoyed practicing and spent many hours trying to improve my musical ability. In
