It is said that history repeats itself, yet we never learn from it. The tale of greed getting the best of us is one we are all aware of in modern times. People believe more is better, but more always comes with difficulties that cause harm either to us or others. Greed is a trait that all humans share; unfortunately, sometimes we let it take control, and it destroys us. Sepp Blatter, a Swiss sports executive, was a victim of this greed; he performed violations in favor of his own wealth, which would later lead to career ending accusations.
Sepp Blatter is someone in modern time who let greed get the best of him. It is documented in an online biography that Sepp Blatter was born with the name Joseph Sepp Blatter, on March 10, 1936 in Switzerland (Rollin). Sepp went on to become an independent capable, young man with many talents. Rollins notes that Sepp attended the University of Lausanne, where he acquired a degree in business and economics. He spoke four languages and showed interest in sports as he himself was a footballer (Rollin).
