In the dictionary, morals are defined as: a person's standards of behavior or beliefs concerning what is and is not acceptable for them to do. But, what truly fits under that description is almost infinite. To me this word has much more depth. The definition should be expanded, because I believe that some people have no morals anymore. People are slowly making morals disappear in today’s world. Some people are trading morals for evil behavior, in present day. Even though that is a big problem going on, there are also some people out there who choose morality over evil behavior. These are the people that help when they believe it is needed. They have an urge to kill. They enjoy killing and like doing it in the same way. Serial killers usually go for victims that are very similar. They have mental issues that make them do these things. Some say they do not have a conscience to listen to, and if they do, they are killing by choice. They decide to ignore their conscience. They simply cannot resist. After one brave child was able to get help, it was proven that the parents of these innocent children and even some young adults, were torturing them. Not only did they torture their children, but they starved them. They were charged with child endangerment, many counts of it. Ironically enough, this couple forced their kids to memorize bible scriptures. They were incredibly strict with this, but where are their morals now? Not all Christians are good and not all non-Christians are bad. But, it is rather hypocritical for them to have done this to their children if they are so into the religion. The couple claimed that God “called on them” to give birth so many times. This is when stereotypes come into place because this is when it is not be expected from the happy Christian family. Non-religious people could be much better parents sometimes. We cannot misjudge simply by what we hear or see. The couple chained up their kids, and starved them. They did not allow them to shower or use an actual restroom. The love of a parent and a child is said by many to be the strongest love of all. A different type of love. We cannot say that the parents did not love their children but their actions do make it seem like they did not. A couple that tortures a part of them, being their own child, has no morals to
