What is the purpose for having set speed limits? Some may argue that speed limits help set standards for road safety. Others may argue and, say that it’s just another way for the government and state to control us. Whatever the reason may be everyone has their own opinion on speed limits. Personally I am against having set speed limits. Why? Because I feel that having set speed limits is yet another way for law enforcement to go after people. Say you get pulled over for speeding. You go to court to defend yourself but, what’s really going to happen? The judge will most likely side with the officer regardless of your record. Maybe that’s why people tend to speed anyway.
