My chosen leader for this assignment was my former director of the organization I currently work at, Pennyrile District Health Department, Jim Tolley. He had a vision of a big plan, and the future of not only the organization, but the communities that we serve. According to the requirements of an effective vision, I believe he was a leader to help the organization see and work towards the vision. Four requirements of a effective vision are: establish direction and mobilize the organization, communication, detail on employees part of the vision, and uplifting and inspiring (Manning & Curtis, 2008).
Their mission will guide them to make more informed choices about what they fund, give support to, and why they started their organization. Their vision statement
What is That 70’s Show? Erik Adams explains it to be, “... a sitcom set in malaise years whose true purpose was never lampooning disco cheese or outdated technology—though it did that, too. In this essay I will write about the strengths and weaknesses of perception as a way of knowing. Perception is the way we perceive the world through our senses. We use all five of our senses, which are sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch to understand the world and interpret it. We can then say it’s a Primary way of knowledge. We can also say that, because the senses is the way our body communicates, we have at least three more senses: kinesthetic sense, which is our awareness of our body’s dimensions and movement; vestibular sense, which is the awareness of the human’s balance and spacial orientation; and organic sense, which is the manifest of the internal organs (for example, hunger or thirst).
