Immigration: Bernie Sanders vs. Donald Trump

Immigration is a big issue when it comes to this year’s presidential election. One candidate wants to help legalize illegal immigrants. While another candidate thinks no good of them. Although some people do not like Bernie Sanders for president he is actually the best candidate, because his ideas intend to help the immigration situation.
My candidate, Bernie Sanders believes we should put a stop to the notion that the border must be secured before the legalization can happen. He has quoted that, “We are a nation of immigrants. I am the son of an immigrant myself. Their story, my story, our story is a story of America: hardworking families coming to the United States to create a brighter future for their children. The story of immigrants is the story of America, a story rooted in a family and fueled by hope. It continues today in families all across the united states.” Bernie Sanders thoughts on this are not false, but merely states the truth about our nation. He simply just wants everyone to have a better chance in life. By allowing immigrants legalization this could bring a brighter future to our country.

While Trump seems to think that all illegals are criminals and should all be deported back without giving them a chance to better their lives. Not all people are bad and those who deem well enough not to take advantage of our government should be given the chance to prove that they are willing to work for their place here. Unlike Trump, Bernie Sanders is willing to give them chance, and like Sanders stated “We are a nation of immigrants…” meaning there is no way to rid our country of immigrants. Everyone should be given a chance for a bigger and brighter future. Our country needs to move
