There once was a girl, named Vera,with a pure heart. Vera was so beautiful and glorious. She befriended an angel, named with magnificent pure wings. The angel had been captured by humans and tortured. She kept him company when she could but one day they took him away, sadness began to taint the girl's soul when she realized that he was gone. The sadness that tainted the girl's soul opened a door to limbo. She was frightened and tried running, but before she could get away she was dragged through the door. She spent years there, in hell, suffering until she was forced the become like her tormentors. She became a demon to protect herself. One day she had enough of the solitude and flew to a solitary cliff, wishing for a death that led to nothingness. But when she reached the edge she realized that she was not alone. She witnessed an angel standing at the edge; his wings were blacker than a moonless midnight and his mesmerising face only tainted by the scarlet tears streaming down his face. He touches her face gently and he says "Is that you, Vera?" She looks at him confused because she had not heard her name in years. She had believed that nobody would remember her. She looked at him closely; she was trying to remember him. Suddenly memories flooded into her mind of a time before she was pulled into hell. She quickly realized that he was the angel who had been taken away. She looked in his eyes amazed that he remembered her, especially considering that she had changed so much. She said, "How can it be you?" She touches his black wings before she continues, "How horrible it must have been to be held by those dark souls, to be tortured by the ignorant." He wept out of joy because she remembered him, but he quickly grew sad again when he remembered that she had become a demon in his absence. He whispers with a rough voice, "What happened to you, my dear friend?" She looked at him and began explaining the burden she had been forced to endure. He held her as she explained the events that occurred up to the moment on the cliff. When the girl finished explaining, they were both in tears and embracing each other. The boy gently held her and told her that she is beautiful and that being a demon didn't change her kind heart.
