The ancient city of Aarocockra was a vast empire tainted by the greed and malice of those who resided within its walls. Many feared the city and its inhabitants. Others saw it as an opportunity to escape retribution for their crimes. In Aarocockra there was no justice for anyone. People in the city could lie, cheat, steal, or even murder without consequence. It is said that Aarocockra was once a peaceful and benevolent place, filled with fair commerce and trade, but many envied its prosperity. Slowly, miscreants began inhabiting the city, corrupting its very core, and soon the once great city became infested with criminals.
