Chapter Thirteen “Worldwide Annihilation” “Dammit, just jump Sarah we are right here under you. Jump.” Peter exclaimed. “She’s frozen Pete. She’s too scared.” said Francis. Peter pulled out his gun and shot the platform Sarah was standing on. Sarah collapsed to her knees as the platform popped. The platform broke and Sarah went rolling off the ledge. Peter and Francis caught her as they intended to do. Angry shouts and moans came from the top of the ledge where Sarah was. “What the hell guys” she said. The trio had been attacked, ambushed and chased by something described to be inhuman or more along the zombie border. It had been exactly one month or a little over a month since they were in Detroit where Francis lived. Days after Francis’s neighbors died, they came back to life and went throughout the city terrorizing the people of Detroit. The police shot them down which is why they knew the neighbors came back to life. More people became sick and eventually the entire city was crawling with infected people. It was obvious what it was but nobody wanted to say or even think about saying what they thought it was. Sarah fainted after a while. The seemingly small object began to descend in front of Peter, Francis and the fainted Sarah. The UFO became larger than life as it got closer to the ground. Once on the ground the door to the UFO started to open slow. Peter took his wife’s gun and pointed it toward the door and Francis shined the flashlight as well. All of a sudden Peter’s gun clip fell out of his gun and the one bullet in the chamber popped out and hit the ground. The gun in its entirety dissembled on the to the ground. Peter almost had a heart attack. In seconds his gun was just pieces of steel. The door to the UFO was completely opened. A large greenish alien stood in front of the
