Mack Wilberg is a composer, arranger, conductor, and the current music director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He once was the associate director of the Temple Square Chorale for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from May 1999 until his appointment as director on March 28, 2008. He is a former professor of music at BYU, where he directed the Men's Chorus and Concert Choir. At BYU, he was a member of the American Piano Quartet which included Paul Pollei, himself, and different other pianist at different times. This group toured throughout the world and commissioned many original works.
The archteciture is so unique in deisgn that the columns are the only thing holding up the whole building “standing strong” because the columns are working together. Without any of the colums the building would just fall. This design was structured this way because just as the nation would fall without all of its states the memorial would fall without all of its columns. One of the many concepts when constructing the memorial was that you were able to have it in the back of your pocket such as a pennie or five dollar bill. William R. Estep was a family man as well as a highly regarded professor of church history at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for 40 years. He was a prominent church historian in the Southern Baptist circle and authored many works on church, Baptist, and Anabaptist history such as Anabaptist Beginnings, Renaissance and Reformation, and Whole Gospel Whole World. He has also served as a pastor in several churches in Texas, Kentucky, and Oklahoma as well as taught at Baptist seminaries across the world including nations such as Canada and Columbia. The number of years he has researched, taught, and lived serve as the authority that he has to write about the early Anabaptist history.
Advantages/Disadvantage of the Arapaho Tribe Geographical Location As early as the 1600’s, different civilizations have experienced hardships because of geographical location. The Arapaho Tribe endured numerous situations which resulted in, sometimes problems unwanted. Despite some disadvantages at hand their distinctive gut of wanting to explore more parts of the world made them an effective defender. As a result of their high placements in the mountains, it had resulted in a well defensive play. With a well defensive home comes difficult decisions to make based on weather, food, and weaponry.
Serpent Mound- The creators of the Serpent Mound were Native Americans possibly part of the Mississippi tribes. The Serpent Mounds was dated from 400 to 1100 CE of a formed impacted crater. Module 2 states, “the Serpent Mound was constructed to honor the cosmic rhythms through its form and structure”. The mound is made of several layers which are stone, clay, ash and top soil.
To the majority of the American public, Indian Jones films are the closest they will ever get to even considering what the work of archaeologist looks like. This is too bad because the film represents a very cliché version of archaeological field work that kind of discredits the amount of time that is put into actual archaeological field work. In the film, Dr. Jones is a archaeology professor and a fearless archaeologist who travels the world attempting to protect the hidden artifacts in the world’s oldest archaeological sites. In this film he is searching for the Ark in order to prevent the Nazis from finding it first. Through action packed scenes, a love interest, and fighting evil Nazis, Jones is able to find the Ark and protect it.
There were many key events and people in the founding and success of Jamestown but the most important people and events, to me, were Captain Smith, Pocahontas, and the ritual of death and rebirth. Jamestown revolved around Captain Smith, Pocahontas, and the ritual of death and rebirth. Captain Smith had valuable knowledge about survival. He knew the Algonquian language to trade with the native tribes that were already at Virginia. Captain Smith has good leadership skill and is sometimes able to command the gentlemen to work alongside commoners, even though he is a commoner.

The Wounded Knee Massacre or the Battle of the Wounded Knee was the last armed conflict between the Great Sioux Nation and the United States of America. It occurred at Wounded Knee, South Dakota on December 29, 1890. The United States Army used Hotchkiss cannons while Sioux warriors were poorly unarmed.
The first four colonies of America were, New Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay Colony, Rhode Island, following with Connecticut. John Winthrop, Thomas Hooker, Roger Williams, along with Anne Hutchinson, were few of the founders of the first colonies. Centered around religion, after escaping religious persecution, these colonies based the way they lived their lives around the Bible, Church, along with the New testament. The Puritans emphasized religious obligations and followed strict guidelines pertaining to the Bible. They broke away from the church of England and became their own religion following the teachings of the Bible as well as the Old Testament.
The author use of the title “Cathedral” was misleading at first. “Cathedral” is about a husband who had an interesting experience with his wife’s blind friend. The narrator, also known as the husband, had difficulty understanding other people thoughts and personal feelings. The narrator knew how important the blind man is to his wife, yet he still makes careless jokes about him. “Maybe I could take him bowling” was a comment made by the narrator after finding out that the blind man was staying over his house.
The Salem witch trials were the prosecution of people accused of witchcraft in Massachusetts from June to September 1692 by the Court of Oyer and Terminer. Though the trials were held in Salem, the accused were brought in from the neighboring towns of Amesbury, Andover, Topsfield, Ipswich, and Gloucester as well. To this day the trials are considered the epitome of injustice, paranoia, scapegoating, mass hysteria, and mob justice. The results were almost 200 arrests, 19 executed “witches”, one man pressed to death, one man stoned to death, and two dogs killed because they were suspected to be familiars of their owners who were accused of being witches. The Lincoln Memorial has thirty-six columns that represent each state that was reunified to the United States of America. The Parthenon contains forty-six outer columns and twenty-three inner columns. Even though the buildings may be similar in color and texture they are made with a few different materials. The foundations of the Parthenon were made of limestone. The outer part was made of marble.
This is a reflection on Larry Osbornes book, Sticky Church, I did read the entire book. I have enjoyed it and would recommend it. Summary Many churches think they are doing well with all their new visitors and slight rise in attendance.

THE TABERNACLE The Israelites stayed at Mt. Sinai for more than a year. During this time, they were occupied chiefly in learning the many details of the law which they were to follow. One of the most important developments that took place was the building of the Tabernacle, the chief purpose of which was to represent God as dwelling in the midst of his people, and it is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ, who was to come.
