Aliens have almost always been viewed as a horror character, but they may actually be real. Aliens are depicted as an evil, creepy lifeform that wants to “eat humans’ brains.” They are a fictional character in movies that people sometimes see “real” things about. Scientists say that sometime in the near future, as in about twenty years, we should find alien life (Yahoo 7). Aliens could even be searching for us as we are them, waiting for whoever has the most advanced technology to find each other first. Aliens should be considered real for many reasons through real evidence.

In the last few years, NASA has found out many things about possible alien life on other planets through their Kepler Space Program. They have been able to find several series of other planets that may be able to sustain life for even humans. Their most likely planet is an Earth-sized planet that is said to be in the “habitable zone” of that particular solar system. They have given this planet the name of Kepler-186f. Astronomers believe that this planet is rocky just like earth, is extremely likely to be able to sustain human life, and …show more content…

The astronomers who are working in the Kepler program were able to find that nearly twenty percent of all stars are Sun-like. This information provides that planets that are in the stars’ gravitational field are potentially habitable. The closest of these habitable zones is only about twelve light years away; one hundred twelve thousand, seven hundred forty years at twenty five thousand miles per hour. This particular habitable zone and its planets can even be seen by the naked eye. In total, of what we can see with telescopes and astronomical tools of that sort and interstellar machines, we know that there are approximately sixty billion habitable planets as of today.
