Assisted dying should be freedom of choice. Opponents would argue, people should not be allowed to assisted dying, they could abuse the power. While people could abuse the power, an individual choice to end their life, is a personal and individual decision. Assisted dying should be a choice for terminally ill patients. If someone is in a lot of pain, and facing endless treatments, no chance of getting better, they should have the choice to end their life. Everyone should have a choice if they want to live, or do not want to. If someone is slowly dying, they should be able to die with dignity. Otherwise people would be dying a slow and painful death. Isn’t a sudden, painless death better than a slow painful death. Every cancer patient or terminally ill patient, that does not have very long to live should have a choice. No one should have to live with endless pain.
