Going back to my first point, bullying is a big fear of many students. The thing about bullying is that it usually happens when no teacher is there to watch over them. It’s not like the teacher can always be watching. Teachers are busy because they need to keep their students busy. Most activities take place when teachers aren't able to monitor them. Fortunately, there is no need for a teacher to abandon their work to monitor students which, in turn, forces them to pull an all nighter so their work is in by the due date. Instead, security guards can do that. With someone being able to monitor the school at all times, mischievous students (mainly students who do suspicious things during break and/or after school) will worry about being caught. Security Guards promote safer environments. A lot of students do not feel safe in school from threats like bullying or potential shootings. A security guard would relieve them quite a bit from the influence of them just being in the building. A lot of students fear potential school shootings. In those scenarios, the most they can do is pray for their survival. With security guards, the shooting might not even start. The presence of a security guard in the building can deter crime from starting as there is someone there to stop them professionally. WIth that, Security Guards promote a safe environment. When teachers are busy doing something and don’t have time to watch over students, some students will start doing things they shouldn’t be doing. However, security guards can keep watch on them while teachers can continue on with their duties. While security guards aren’t mandatory for schools, you should at least consider it after taking in the students point of
