Child Soldiers Deserve to be granted with amnesty as long as they don’t act violent. These underaged soliders are forced to act violent. They are also drugged, leaving them no choice but to do what they are told. On the other hand, many argue that they shouldn’t be given amnesty. They say the child solider do have a choice between saving themselves or others, but in kids are too young to expect themselves to save others instead of themselves. Given these points child soldiers deserve an amnesty as a second chance to earn humanity again. They claim that they could also have the choice of choosing to kill themselves instead of obeying the orders they are told. Indeed they did have a choice but young children haven’t developed enough to decide to kill themselves or get shot for disobeying to a simple order. As a matter of fact, children should be the people to less expect to choose other people instead of themselves. This is another reason why amnesty should be given to them. Furthermore, another reason why child soldiers should be granted with amnesty is because they don’t have control over themselves when they are frequently drugged to act uncontrollably violent. “Children become brainwashed through the use of drugs and alcohol.” This shows how they don’t have control over all the actions they cause during a war.
