I also think if we have don’t have more gun control laws, then gun deaths would reduce dramatically. American children under age 15 were nine times more likely to die of a gun accident than children in other advanced wealthy countries. About 200 Americans go to emergency rooms every day with gunshot wounds (Frum).
In conclusion we should have better gun control. There are roughly 32,000 gun deaths per year in the United States. That’s a big number of deaths. There should be a law were every gun how has ever been checked out or bought to have a number and if stole they have to report about just in case someone is trying to use it for the something bad. For the better and the sake of our planet we should have better gun control considering it will save a lot of lives.

The first reason for stricter gun laws is that guns are not safe, and many accidents can occur. People are very irresponsible and will leave their guns out. Little kids will get ahold of them and a very bad accident could happen.
It’s been said by many people that guns need controlled restricted and even banned. Restricting who gets their hands on guns is a good thing, but it has shown that countries with more restrictive gun licensing laws show fewer deaths by firearms and a lower gun ownership rate. A lab was done and showed that for every 100 people there is about 88 guns. Stated in the same article on the Huffington post it was said that “similar results have been found by the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime, which states that countries with higher levels of firearm ownership also have higher firearm homicide rates.” (Huffington post 2015).
Stricter gun control laws would ensure guns do not fall in the hands of people who would misuse them. For example, individuals who are 21-years-old and below should not be given the right to own or be around guns. For if they are not allowed to legally drink alcohol, how can they be trusted with a weapon that can easily take a life within seconds.
According to the CDC, “Guns are responsible for over thirty-three thousand deaths in the United States annually. Gun Control is a set of laws that controls the use of guns by civilians. The Gun Control Act was signed as October 22, 1968 but was updated in 1993. As of February 23, 2018 seventy percent of people favor stricter gun laws and twenty-seven oppose of them. I believe that the Gun Control Laws should be stricter here around the United States because almost everyday something bad is happening by the use of a gun.
In the past, the major gun control legislations that have been put into effect have not stopped people from obtaining firearms (Gun Control.) There have also been cases in the past where cities have attempted to ban handguns. After the ban was put into effect, murder rates tended to rise instead of drop, unlike what most people might assume. Crime rates and violence also skyrocketed after the bans were put into effect. Another problem with taking guns away, or banning them, is that the government cannot expect everyone to abide by the laws.
Having strict gun control laws would prevent civilians from protecting themselves against attackers and invaders. While there is a call for strict gun control laws it is impossible for the law makers and law enforcers to protect everyone all the time so having this in place prevents a person from his own protection. Gun ownership allows persons to be protected and this is not something gun control does effectively. The Pew Research Center, which is well known for conducting numerous types of research, has conducted many surveys on this issue and one important trend noticed is that there is more support by Americans for gun rights when compared to gun control. This way of thinking is understandable because if we don't get weapons, then how are we supposed to protect ourselves. I also disagree with this because if the laws are more strict then there will be less crime and this will make them not want to do the right thing. Some argue that making gun control laws more strict is not the best way to go. ( Sheldon Richman) argues that gun control is ineffective at preventing crime.
