Imagine if schools didn't drug test. Think about how many students would try or attempt to abuse drugs constantly. This would decrease the amount of students attending school and lower their education ability. Schools should be allowed to drug test because It is fair to others, their behavior, and it is helping students.

This shows it isn't fair because they get an advantage of getting a “high” and making them feel good about winning. “Olympic athletes admitted that they would be willing to take a drug -- even if it would kill them eventually -- as long as it let them win every event they entered five years in a row. “ {Pro & Con 3}. Why should athletes need to take a drug to make them feel powerful and good about themselves so they can win every event? They should be able to feel powerful and have self confidence without taking drugs. They should feel they should play their best anyways no matter what happens if they win or lose. “Drug testing allows for early detection and intervention.” {John 2}. This shows that if schools do drug testing it would be helping students get through it or prevent it. It would be increasing their chances of a successful future. Also, it would be helping their health and make them have a clearer view of how dangerous it is. Even if the school, parents, or police find out there is not a consequence/punishment they are just there to help them through their problems and get through it. If schools really are into promoting a safe and drug-free environment then shouldn’t they not care about the money they would be spending for all the tests, but they would care more about the safety and helping
