Should college students be made to wear uniforms? The age-old question has stirred up a few controversial discussions among college students and the very purpose of choosing this topic is to discuss the feasibilities, reasons and outcomes of implementing this very regulation to college students throughout the 4 or 5 years of learning period. Some people consider the answer to this question an extreme and definite one, which is either on one side of the spectrum or another- yes or no. College is supposed to be a place where students get to experience the taste of being an adult before graduating and get into the workplace. They should have the right to choose what to wear to lectures and they are mature enough to differentiate the appropriate attires for a specific occasion or event. Generalizing the need to implement the regulation of uniforms in college is just going to no avail because it does not change anything except on a superficial level. The ideology behind this discussion is simply idiotic. In short, it is clearly stated that uniform policies do not help and are not effective in any school system.
