Why Playing Video Games Can Result In Violence

Many would be surprised to know that 42% of just Americans play video games. That is over 150 million people. All of this is including young kids, teenagers, and adults. Today, the struggle is more within the children then with the adults because all of the kids will be growing up around virtual reality the includes killing and violence. In the past, there has not been many instances with video games that lead to violence because not many people had them. Now almost every teenager and even some adults have them on their phone and tablets. My main example for this is, a few years ago there were these two teenage girls who played a demonic game so much that they truly believed in it. They believed in it so much that they thought it was their duty to do exactly as the video game told them and that was to go hurt someone else. So they brought another girl over to their house and hurt her so bad that she was put in the hospital. Games like “Killzone”, “Call of Duty”, and “Battlescar” are very few of the thousands of violent games in this world that can lead to disruption and violent behavior in this world. Kids these days will stare at a screen on average about 10 hours a day. All of America will check their calls, emails, and their games 8 billion times a day on record. Video games are these peoples life because they don’t know how to really communicate. Teenagers will spend all of their time in front of a video game talking to other people through the game but not in real life because they are scarred. Although not all people worry about their video games as much as other things, we still need to stop the use of video games in this world because it would make communication better and we would have more time to be outside enjoying life instead of being in front of a screen.
