Here are some reasons why: the players are most likely numb to pain. Instead, they want to cause a suffering towards others. To add, the players get encouraged whenever they hear a message such as, “Nice shot.” This boosts the gamer’s determination. As a result, school shootings are caused. One reason that gamers can become deadly is because that they are numb to pain. This means that these future killers don’t feel any kind of emotion towards themselves. According to Brad Bushman, “If the game is a first person shooter, players have the same visual perspective as the killer.” From this quote, we can see that the players see themselves as the killer.
