As the spectrum broadens on the belief that games in general cause an increase in senseless violence; however, the idea that video games can be and are very helpful learning tools is being well overlooked. In many recent studies and real life events, gaming has been proven to save lives, broadened ways to change and improve life through gaming,and in some cases make you smarter.

Gamers who play military strategic games tend to give the gamers the ability to make quick analytical decisions for succeeding in everyday careers and studies. Data and research from many experiments proved that video games build not burn brain cells by requiring extensive problem-solving skills, teamwork, and dramatic decision- making skills. For people with severe stage fright, gaming can be a helpful for people who are afraid of meeting new people by encourages them to try again if they fail the first time around. Through gaming, gamers have been able to save actual lives, broaden the human mind and the knowledge gained, and video games can be helpful to make gamers smarter in real life as well. To possibly make things more clear, violent video games are NOT a cause for senseless violence such as school shootings but are caused by many known and unknown factors. Maybe someday video games would be introduced to the school curriculum than maybe some students would be attentive and not fall asleep in class. Until than the only thing to do is sit back and mop up the drool and hope that majority of the class would be able to pass without the brilliant effects of video games to the human
