Based on the environment animals are not getting the health they need. As humans we have fun at zoos seeing all the excitement happen but, the animals don't.
Zoos should not be closed in Canada because there are good to our animals. Zoos are a big part in helping our animals and if they closed down then a lot of animals would be extinct.so we should. Canada should not close down any zoo because the zoo can have a big impact for helping rare species become a non-rare species. Zoos take good care of their animals because if they didn 't the zoos would be closed already there for the zoos take really good care of their animals. We should have zoos in Canada because if a little boy or girl saw an animal for the first time that boy or girl could go home and look up that animal and if they see that that animal is rare, that boy or girl could grow up to help that animal come back

Zoos have been around for hundreds of years, in fact they can be dated back all the way to 1250 BC, when ancient Egyptian records described birds, lions, and giraffes in captivity. Today there are over 10,000 zoos worldwide, entertaining millions with exotic animals behind bars. With species threatened and habitats disappearing worldwide, due to poaching and destruction caused by man, zoos are playing a new role in conservation.
This proves to be significant because although some say zoos are educational they prove of no worth to the amount of information we as humans obtain. Also when children see how these animals were taken out of their natural habitats and put in synthetic homes it can damage the kids. For instance, there have been cases of bacterial infections that could possibly put the children and adult sin danger. On example of this is e. coli bacteria which can be found in some reptiles areas in the zoo. If people make contact with these animals they can catch this sickness which can lead to potential death.
