Margaret Lazarus’ essay All’s Not well in Land of the Lion King details her opinion in the classic Disney movie. She states how she believes the movie is racist, sexist, and anti-gay. While it’s not difficult to see where she’s coming from, most of her points are far-fetched at best. Another major point Lazarus tried to make clear in her essay is that The Lion King is sexist. Night is a memoir by Elie Weisel about his life and experiences during the Holocaust.
