After reading Animal Farm by George Orwell it was discovered that in fact, the book is related to the Russian Revolution. Many people don't believe this, they believe that animal farm is just an ordinary book, and if there are similarities, it is coincidental. To prove those people wrong and convince them that Animal Farm is based on the Russian Revolution, the topics of characters, wars, and politics are discussed. First of all, Old major and Karl Marx are almost exactly the same. Both Karl and old major believe their people are being extremely mistreated, and both originated the idea of rebellion. They also both ended up dying before they could even see the rebellion in action. Another pair that is similar is Joseph Stalin and Napoleon the pig. However, there are certain battles in the revolution that correspond to battles in animal farm. First of all, we have the battle of the cowshed, to slightly educate you Mr. Jones tried to get the farm back. He lost miserably and ended up trying to tell the neighbors that the animals are a bad idea. He also didn't follow animalism nor did he accept it to be a thing. This relates to the Bolsheviks, they were fighting anti-communists, who were white. In the end, they won the battle and as did the animals. Secondly, the battle of the windmill and the corresponding battles were known as the battle of Stalingrad and the battle of Moscow. The destruction of the windmill speaks to the obliteration of what the Soviets had accomplished when the Second World War started. The two fights nearly crushed the two communities and, as of now said, overwhelming misfortunes had been endured.
