Adventure stories are always interesting because they have unexpected twists and endings. They could also go places that are magical and full of fantasy. Authors can also take a huge variety of approaches to the story. In the passages “Peter Pan” and “Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz”, the authors take different approaches to adventure.
In the story “Peter Pan”, at first Wendy, John, and Michael decide to go to fly with Peter because they thought it would be fun and had a decision. They were also excited and elated to learn how to fly. As the story goes on, they start to become really worried that they were fully dependent on Peter, and he was into mischief and keeps bragging.The author’s approach is taking you to realize that you have to think about your decisions before you actually perform them. This is because Wendy, John, and Michael agree to go with Peter without thinking about the dangers it could take them to, and when they became dependent on Peter Pan
