The people of both countries didn’t like their leaders and what they were doing in their governments so they wanted to replace them. It states “The Mexican Revolution started in 1910, when liberals and intellectuals began to challenge the regime of dictator Porfirio Díaz, who had been in power since 1877, a term of 34 years called El Porfiriato. During El Porfiriato, Mexico grew economically, however the majority of the population still lived in poverty. This shows that the dictator of mexico has his people in poverty.
