The similarities between the two works is remarkable. Garbo and Aelsk both use techniques that were common in high renaissance. The use of In the Renaissance era, especially High Renaissance era, many artists were able to gain prominence by creating artwork with new techniques that enhanced their work. The discovery of new sciences, and mixture of math in art, really allowed the artists to create irreplaceable masterpiece. Two of the artists were Raffaellino del Garbo and Pieter Coecke van Aelsk, who really flourished in Renaissance by creating paintings that used multiple techniques, and connect to the viewer spiritually and emotionally. By comparing The Descent from the Cross by Aelsk and Enthroned Virgin with Saints and Angels by Garbo,
