The Ho-Chunk and the Cherokee both have many things in common with each other. Some of these similarities include they both have been pushed out of their land by settlers and have had to reorganize their way of life as a result of this. Both the HO-Chunk and the Cherokee do not live in the stereotypical tee pees, but rather in buildings such as houses or cabins. Also not all the Cherokee or Ho-Chunk people in the tribe live in the same area and have had to spread out over the years..
