Similar to the Byzantine Empire, China was very successful before Islam. The main difference was that China remained successful all throughout the spread of Islam while the Byzantine Empire
For example, in a picture labeled “Sakyamuni (Buddha) Cutting His Hair” created during the Tang dynasty depicted a man in Chinese clothing with Chinese people around him in an environment full of mountains and trees that is usually favored by Chinese artists (Doc 3). The man represents Buddha if Buddha was a Chinese person, when he is actually an Indian prince who is named Siddhartha Gautama. The purpose of this painting was to show how Chinese artists blended Chinese culture with Buddhism in paintings to show how Buddha would be like if Buddha was a Chinese person. Another example is the Leshan Giant Buddha statue which is a statue that is 233 feet tall which is built during the Tang dynasty (Doc.4). Surrounding the statue of Buddha was statues of Chinese generals that were to “protect” the statue.

Over the span of two dynasties, they continued and developed new economic changes, social structures, and cultural interactions. Economically, the Qin dynasty had developed a successful economic source in silk.
The spread of Islam and China greatly contributed to world development during the 1500’s. Christendom in Europe enhanced Christianity throughout the Byzantine Empire. The European forces of Christendom established new colonies, but Muslims easily invaded them. The European’s technological advancements were inferior to Chinese and Islam officials. European civilizations expanded trade routes throughout China and Islam.
A similarity between the two shows they both thought of themselves on universal terms, meaning they had control over almost everyone. For example, Polybius, a Roman writer, explains how Rome ruled "almost all the entire world". But the Chinese had a more wider approach, they believed they ruled everyone "all under heaven", meaning

Between foundation establishment of Egyptian and Chinese religion, there are a variety of differences such as beliefs and rituals. However despite their contrast, there is also known similarities of the two civilization’s religion discovered through the evolution of time. In comparison both civilizations were dependent upon the religious moral values implemented by a their divine being, bodily preservation, and the belief of Afterlife immortality. Both Egyptians and the Chinese believed equally as modern day Christians that there’s an afterlife for the deceased.
There are many Daoist influences to be seen in the Chinese art. Chinese paintings often include common themes from the Daodejing: the infinity, flow, and mystery of nature. To be more specific, the book’s images of the flowing river, the valley, or the uncarved block of stone are some of the typical elements in such paintings. Another significant field of art influenced by Daoism is poetry. Chinese poetry frequently recalls themes found in the Daodejing and the Zhuangzi: the joy of life in the countryside, away from the rushed atmosphere of the city; the change of seasons; harmony with nature; and general simplicity.

Christianity and Islam have similarities such as a large-scale split and a history of spreading through popular trade routes, while simultaneously having many differences such as where the two religions spread, the methods in which they spread, and the structure of their religious leaderships. One of the primary differences between the spread of Islam and Christianity is the directions in which they spread.
During the years of 600 BCE - 600 CE, often referred to as the Classical Era, there was a lot of change going on. Major empires arose such as the Han and Qin Dynasties of China, Gupta and Maurya of India, Roman, Greek, and Persian. Many new religions and belief systems were created as well; Confucianism, Legalism, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Greek Rationalism, and Taoism. In this time period, religions and belief systems were shaping empires and paving futures for them as well.
From cultures to everyday life to the government, these nations hold very unique traits that separate them apart. To start with, their cultures are drastically contrasting. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two countries in terms of religious beliefs. Chinese art is greatly influenced by the country’s rich spiritual and mystical history.
China traded silk and bronze work. Egypt traded jewels, cotton, gold, chickens and ivory. There were several other characteristics that China and Egypt had in common. Both Egypt and China worshipped many nature gods. Both believed in an afterlife.
Chinese Calligraphy is not just writing to the people of China, but for hundreds of years it has been seen as a supreme form of art. The first writings were so old that they are not even written on paper. The people of China have had a special connection with their writing for over a thousand years, and for many hundred of those they have judge their artwork based off of calligraphy. All of the art work would have to be judged on something entirely
