There were three kings that reigned in the 17th century. Their names were Henry IV, King Louis XIII, and King Louis XIV. Most of what men did in the 17th century was farming, merchants, and bakers. The women were accountable for things that needed to be done at home. All food was not done from boxes like it is today, but from scratch. People did not have ovens to cook their food in or microwaves to heat up their food. If the people were wealthy, they had servants to do their housework for them. King Louis told them that he planned to rule. He took responsibility as a “God.” That is when he came up with the sun being his emblem. Anything that was done against his ruling was considered disgraceful. Eventually, people backed him up with what he was doing. Over the next few years, not a single detail got by him. He spent eight hours of each day at his job. King Louis XIV was someone who wanted to know everything and make every decision. In time, he achieved what he was wanting. Over forty years, his monarchy had started around eleven civil wars. Since this happened, he made the people who rebelled come and lose all of their money to gambling. After that happened, the people who rebelling have to rely on King Louis XIV. King Louis XIV was a hard worker and he maintained his routine everyday. He built the Versailles in between 1661 and 1689. In 1682, he moved the government from Paris to the spectacular place. He worked with a minister, so he could keep control over France. There were two Dutch wars that he took part in after his father-in-law died.One of the wars was because King Louis XIV declared the Spanish Netherlands as his. After that, the second war came.
