Lightning Thief novel and film are fantasy and Greek mythology. Because Percy Jackson went on a quest to prevent a war against the gods Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. The novel and the film has many similarities, but there are so many differences that set the two apart. There are many similarities between the novel ''Lightning Thief '' and the film.

Then when percy was supposed to be shot his half brother jumped in the way so he got shot not percy because his half brother new he will come back to life and thats what gave his half brother respect for percy. The Sea of Monsters Percy Jackson was a normal 12 year old boy in the first book of the series until he found out he was the son of a the God Poseidon. In the first book of the series, The Lightning Thief Percy has to find Zeus’ lightning bolt to forestall the largest feud in history between Zeus and Poseidon. Zeus accused Poseidon of stealing his lightning bolt but when it was really Luke, son of Hermes. With doing that he also has to save his mother and friends from Hades, god of the underworld.
Percy Jackson is more of a hero when compared to Odysseus. A hero must be helpful, selfless, and forgiving to others. Percy is a character from the movie “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters'' and is a helpful, selfless, and forgiving character. Odysseus, on the other hand, is from a story called “The Odyssey” and is less helpful to others, selfish, and unforgiving. With these traits, Percy is more of a hero than Odysseus.

The brothers, Josh and Jordan Bell play on the same basketball team and they are the best on their team and are always working together. One day they experience a conflict that interferes with their relationship and basketball. Jordan Bell’s actions affect his brother Josh and their relationship negatively, because Jordan dates a girl he and his brother are both in love with.

That is what I think some of Percy's personalities are. Now In the book, Percy is brave because he killed a big bad beast.
