The Highwayman and Atticus Finch Loyalty and bravery. These two traits belong to characters from The Highwayman, written by Alfred Noyes, and To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee. Bess, from The Highwayman, displays her loyalty to her boyfriend by sacrificing herself for him. Atticus Finch, from To Kill a Mockingbird, shows bravery by taking on the Tom Robinson case.
