Sinful Is Not Hypocritical Jeffrey, an eighteen year old boy, still in high school, was strolling down the sidewalk of his house towards his driveway as his mother was leaning against the garage with a cold beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. She asked him, “Jeffrey, where do you think you are going?” Jeffrey replied with a brief, “the movies with friends.” His mother gave him permission to go, after she had asked what movie, the time of the movie, what friends, and which theatre. As he stepped into his car, his mother firmly stated, “Jeffrey no drinking, drugs, or smoking. Do you hear me? You will be grounded if I find out.” Jeffrey was angry towards his mother for demanding this from him. Therefore, he went to the movies and purposely smoked a cigarette.
