Presenting Information Empress Elisabeth of Austria (often referred to as Sisi) is s a 60 year old female of Caucasian race and Bavarian nationality. She is the wife of Emperor Franz Joseph, therefore making her the empress of Austria. She is wealthy and extremely socially relevant, holding one of the highest positions of power as Empress and Queen. Her sexuality is assumed to be heterosexual due to her having a few affairs with men as well as having married a man. Her religion is most likely Roman Catholic because her husband is Roman Catholic and she also goes to an oratory as a place of comfort (Cunliffe-Owen, 1899). The presenting symptoms of the patient include the fear of narrow, steep staircases, melancholic behavior, extreme introversion, feelings of restriction, loss of appetite, excessive exercise, physical exhaustion, fever, fits of coughing, loss of sleep, vomiting, swollen feet, and migraines. I hypothesize her parents to be very loving, liberal people who did not abide by strict rules. They were good parents who treated Sisi with respect and encouraged her intellectual goals and pursuits.
