Education has been developing over time before it was only accessible for men and wealthy people, now it’s open to everyone; but in order for today be accessible it has been inconveniences like students motivation, government, and people opinion. Education has been always a topic to discuss about in the media such as books, newspapers, and films. One of the films that shows about education is Sister Act II: Back in the Habit directed by Bill Duke and film in San Francisco. The director points out information about behavior, education, and school supplies.
The film Sister Act 2, demonstrate the importance of good teachers to behave and accomplish in life. An example is a scene where in the beginning in the St. Francis Academy they were undisciplined, yelling, playing, and listening and singing random music. Fortunately, Sister Mary Clarence uses a strict attitude towards her students.She teaches them morals,behavior, and involves in their lives in and out of class. This shows that effective communication and discipline help the students to improve themselves in an academic and moral way. In this film, education was successfully managed by Sister Mary Clarence knowing that students didn’t care about it. As it is reflected, in the beginning of the movie sister Mary Clarence was lost in the school building. She saw that students didn’t have the motivation and their classes were boring. She took action, and motivate their students telling them “ if you want to be somebody, if you want to go somewhere, you’d better wake up and pay attention”. Sister Mary Clarence understands that her students love singing and incorporates this into her approach towards getting to motivate her students.
