Sleep is one of the most necessary things a person does each day, it is a part of our daily routine. having too little sleep can impact physical and mental health, increasing the risk for a number of disease. Having enough sleep is essential for our bodies. Has a result of lacking of sleep Israel Lane Joubert suffer a great accident at 12:30 am on June 10, 2002. Israel Lane Joubert and his family of seven set out for a long drive home after a family reunion in Beaumont, Texas. Joubert, who had anticipated to reach home in faraway, Fort Worth in time to get to work by 8 am, fell asleep at the wheel, plowing the family’s Chevy Suburban into the rear of a parked 18-wheeler. People with sleep apnea have trouble breathing during sleep because they have shallow breathing or stop breathing for a certain amount during the time they were sleeping due to the blockage of the upper airways. Because you have woken many times during the night, you don’t feel refresh and well rested throughout the day. The national Institutes of health estimates that twelves to eighteen million people in the United States have sleep apnea, and about 3 percent of children and teenagers have the disorders (Peterson 26-27).There are two kinds of sleep apnea, central and obstructive. The first type of Apnea is Central. Central apnea, is caused by a problem within the brain itself that makes a person to forget to breathe temporarily. This is often caused by tissue that blocks the airways in the throat during sleep. Not enough to oxygen comes in troughs the mouth and nose, and the lungs don't receive enough oxygen. The second type of Apnea is Obstructive. Obstructive apnea is caused when your airways become narrowed or partly blocked. It can cause loud snoring and sometimes stop breathing.
The third type of sleeping disease is Narcolepsy. Narcolepsy is caused by the inability of the brain involving poor control to regulate sleep- wake cycles. People with this type of disorder may unwillingly fall asleep while driving, at work or at school. Sleep attack can occur at anytime and anyplace without warning. Some symptoms may be Excessive
