Sleepy Hollow Observation

The show I went to see was none other than Xavier’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow on October 20th at 7:00 P.M. The casting was great, and all the actors and actresses played a character. The stage wasn’t too cluttered, but it also had enough props on it to add to the story. The lighting was good, and the transition were good. The audience was a mix between adults and children, but there were mainly children. I personally think that overall this production was done very well. The audience seemed to be mainly made of children, but there were some Adults. The audience seemed to love the production. The to vendors carts were far enough apart to balance the stage without being too far apart that it would have looked out of place. The little props also added to the production. For example the hairspray on the mirror added to the story, without making it unnecessary to be there, The stage looked really nice with all the props. The lighting was really good. I didn’t see a single time where the lighting was off. You could really tell that there was a lot of time, and effort put into the lights, with timing colors, and transitions, My favorite part with the lights was the trees in the background making the forest look darker, and scarier. The color used for the lights was also very good. For example the gold made the tree backdrop look like it had more dimensions. The lighting was stunning, and put together very well. The sound was my favorite part. I absolutely loved when the microphones had the echo to create a spooky feel. The echo was used at the right time, and wasn’t overused. The microphone were managed really well with timing. You could always hear the person speaking, and they were loud, and clear. The sound was really
