Despite being the editor for our client project, I had involvement throughout all stages of the production process; and in this report I will try and evenly discuss both my unique role as well as my other involvements and how they came together to teach me lessons and introduced me to new experiences. Preparing me for a career in the professional corporate video industry. Throughout our shoots on location; easily one of the greatest challenges we and to rise up to as a team related to the issues brought about by exterior on-location film shoots. Our first couple of shoots were a learning curve in respects to how weather and environment can affect our shoot.

Although mise en-scene was the main focus of the film, I hypothesize that mise en scene wasn’t as innovative as the other two. In a study by the Canadian Medical Association, 46,564 snowboarders and skiers from three continents sustained an injury to the neck or head that was serious enough for first aid and medical attention from a hospital or ski patrol (Picard 1). One in five of the people in the study were wearing helmets (Picard 1).
Thousands of women have competed in the Olympic Games since women were first allowed to compete in 1900 (Olympic.org). When women first earned their right to compete in the Olympics, they still had to fight and regulate the games to be allowed to compete in all sports. 2012 was the first year that women competed in all event types offered in the games (Olympic.org). Almost 150 athletes participated in the Women’s Figure Skating events alone in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Figure skating was originally the first and only sport opened to women in the Winter Sports (Timeline: Women in Sports).
I’m on a mountain, I just overcame my first obstacle the chair lift. Which I thought would be harder than it was I miraculously didn’t fall or knock over the other skiers/snowboarders. Auteurism rose to the surface in the 1950s French New Wave criticism as an appraisal of Hollywood directors who were ready to avoid the rules of the studio system and create films that were distinctively their own.
